Kiki Gyan - 24 Hours In A Disco

Soundway gathers seven recordings by Ghanaian keyboard player Kiki Gyan, drawn from the period between 1978 and 1982. Known for his work with Osibisa, Gyan also developed a solo catalogue that placed his playing within disco, funk and boogie arrangements. Disco Dancer, Keep On Dancing and the title track capture the dance-oriented focus of this collection, alongside songs including Pretty Pretty Girls and Loving You. The compilation offers a route into that part of his career beyond the group recordings for which he first became known. This Soundway edition presents the seven-track selection across two 180g vinyl records.
