About this release
Hyper Go Go’s High brings its piano-house and rave sound to this four-version Hooj Choons twelve-inch. The Original Mix and Cloud 9 Mix occupy the first side, with remixes by testpress and Kyle Starkey on the reverse. The track first appeared in 1992, and these later treatments take different approaches to its familiar riffs: testpress works them around a firm kick and a new synth line, while Starkey adds faster drums, drops and snare rolls. The record connects the original club sound with those newer interpretations, keeping all four mixes together on a single disc.
