About this release
Marc Cotterell and Dominic Balchin's Plastik People Collections Vol. 16 connects vocal house with garage swing and deeper chord-led grooves. The Trumpet Track opens with brass and Rhodes piano, followed by the vocal lift of Baby Do You Feel Me. The reverse moves into the shifting chords of Oh Lord before Rhythm Of The Vibe draws on the New York and New Jersey garage-house tradition. Across the EP, melodic parts and direct rhythms keep the tracks connected, reflecting Plastik People's interest in the sounds of 1990s house. The four-track selection is presented here as a 12-inch vinyl release.
