Groove Chronicles dropped some of the most definitive garage of the early scene. Those tunes still endure, but here he returns with the 'Stack N Tumble' EP, a bold collaboration with Dubchild that reaffirms their pioneering place in UK garage.

The opening track blends fluttering horns, bongos and staggered rhythms into a dynamic, soulful brokenstep anthem. 'Sweat N Hustle (2-Step Mix)' leans into crisp percussion and deep basslines while closer 'Are You Sure' bridges brokenstep and 2-step with emotional vocal cuts and intricate beats. Across all three tracks, the EP pushes the genre forward while nodding to its roots.
