About this release
Sam Binga and Addison Groove's BAGS INC. began with a concentrated 72-hour session at Devon Analogue Studios. Working with classic drum machines, analogue synths and hardware effects, the Bristol collaborators created material that they later shaped into a full album. Detroit jit, Chicago box jams and electro inform its fast, elastic grooves, with tempos sitting between 140 and 150 BPM. The emphasis is on rhythmic movement and machine funk, keeping the music playful as well as forceful. Issued by Binga's Pineapple Records, the double LP comes in a gatefold sleeve featuring a photograph shot in Tokyo by Jonny Dub.
