About this release
Zed Bias opens a new Biasonic archival series with Archives Vol. 1, collecting four recordings from his catalogue. Boss Skank and Tug take the first side, followed by Ye and Copper on the reverse. The selection revisits tracks associated with his 2013 Swamp81 mini-album, connecting deeper house arrangements with broken rhythms and bass-led production. Also known as Maddslinky, Bias has worked across UK garage, two-step, broken beat and UK funky, and the record reflects the crossover between those approaches. This first volume brings the four cuts back together as part of the relaunched Biasonic catalogue.
