About this release
Fred P's Studio 9 EP brings together four tracks of deep house, moving between string-led arrangements, softer melodic passages and dub-influenced space. There & Back opens in its Long Player version, followed by the breezier feel of Something For The Road. Rhythm & Movement places loose, soul-inflected instrumentation over a heavier groove, while BTA10711 closes in its 4am Mix, drawing the sound towards more spacious territory. Written, produced and mixed by Fred Peterkin and recorded at EPRS Worldwide, the EP keeps his detailed approach to rhythm and atmosphere at the centre of the music.
