About this release
The Best of Muddy Waters collects a run of recordings at the centre of his electric Chicago blues sound. I Just Want To Make Love To You, Long Distance Call and Honey Bee sit beside Rollin’ Stone and I’m Ready, with his direct vocals and guitar tying the selection together. The second side moves through Hoochie Coochie, She Moves Me and I Can’t Be Satisfied. This expanded DOL edition adds six recordings to the core compilation, including Little Geneva, Rollin’ And Tumblin’ and Baby Please Don’t Go, giving a wider view of the repertoire around these familiar blues sides.

Label: DOL
