About this release
Rainer Trüby and Miche explore the catalogue of Los Angeles jazz label Catalyst on The Catalyst Files. The selection moves through soulful and spiritual jazz and fusion, bringing together recordings by Mark Levine, Frank Strazzeri, Hadley Caliman, Gary Bartz and Henry Franklin among others. Strazzeri's Cloudburst joins his After The Rain, while Bartz appears with both Ju Ju Man and My Funny Valentine, giving space to different sides of the musicians' work. Panorama presents the twelve-track collection on 180g double vinyl in a gatefold sleeve, accompanied by an insert, an obi strip and liner notes by Andrew Jervis.
