About this release
Japanese drummer and composer Ryojiro Furusawa brings a wide range of moods to Racco. Its seven original compositions move between reflective ballads, forceful jazz-funk and deep modal passages, with calypso rhythms adding another colour to the set. The music’s variety is held together by Furusawa’s direct, energetic approach.
“Cum-Cum”, “Moki” and the title track fill the first side, while “La Zuguta-Ba”, “Wolf Fish”, “June Rain” and “Burning Cloud” complete the album. This Japanese import reissue from Teichiku presents the complete sequence on Pure Vinyl.
