About this release
Stefano Tirone’s tenth S-Tone Inc. album brings together the strands of a career spanning three decades. Its title salutes both the New York disco label Prelude and Eumir Deodato’s album of the same name, reflecting a sound built from soul, funk and dancefloor rhythms. Julia St. Louis and Laura Fedele contribute vocals, while Toco brings a Brazilian influence to songs including ‘Longe De Você’ and ‘Todo Mundo Vai’. Tirone handles guitar, bass, keyboards and programming, with horns and percussion adding live detail. The set also reworks Santana’s ‘Guajira’, sung by Manuela Ravaglioli and German Leguizamon.
