About this release
Cari Lekebusch revisits early recordings under his Vector alias on Reactivations. Selected tracks made between 1989 and 1992 return on Hybrid, documenting the Swedish producer’s developing approach to raw electronic dance music.
Recorded at Flow Motion studio in Stockholm and first released through Planet Rhythm, the material retains its rough-edged character. ‘Possessed’, ‘The Matrix’, ‘Turbulence’ and ‘The Trap’ capture the immediacy of hardware-led early techno.
