About this release
Chicago DJ and producer Rahaan brings three tracks to Soul Service on Pim Of Poms. The title track opens with a dubby Afro-funk feel, letting its loose, mid-tempo rhythm unfold gradually.
Work It Out follows with larger instrumental builds and a soulful vocal, before Ms. Head takes the B-side into a more looping, off-centre groove. The 12-inch connects Rahaan’s disco roots with his instinct for patient, dancefloor-focused arrangements.
