Kalita returns Adelle First’s 'Don’t Give Up' to vinyl with an official reissue sourced from the original analogue tapes. First released in South Africa in 1986 on Solid Records, an imprint of Music Team, the single pairs its vocal version with an extended Dub Mix. Producer Tom Mkhize’s work sits at the centre of both, with the nine-minute dub giving the boogie arrangement more room to unfold. The two versions provide different perspectives on the same recording, bringing a privately released South African dance record back into circulation without relying on the scarcity of original copies.
