About this release
Dennis Farnon’s Snowmobile and Trackers form the third volume in King Underground’s Cavendish Series. The label’s wider project draws eight separate seven-inch releases from the Cavendish Music catalogue, putting these library recordings on 45 RPM singles for the first time. Made for use in radio, television and film, library music gave composers room to work quickly with skilled studio players and tightly defined briefs. This pairing offers a compact introduction to Farnon’s contribution to that world, with the jazz and funk connections that helped bring the catalogue to the attention of later generations of listeners.
