Recorded at Phil Fearon’s home studio in Kensal Rise, the track pairs a stripped-back electro backing with Janey Hallett’s lead vocal and backing vocals from Julia Fordham. Both singers were associated with Mari Wilson & The Wilsations, joining the session through keyboard player Garry Hughes.
