Elia y Elizabeth - Remixes De Oro / Alegria

Razor-N-Tape revisits the early-1970s recordings of Colombian sisters Elia and Elizabeth Fleta through four contemporary remixes. Demi Riquísimo gives Alegría a synth-led tropical treatment, while Yuksek shapes the same song into a concise, mid-tempo disco cut. On the reverse, BOSQ turns Soy Una Nube towards uptempo soul and Barranquilla’s Vagabundo Club Social bring an organic club approach to Alegría. The project grew from an introduction by Vagabundo’s Jaime Tuiran to label founders Aaron Dae and JKriv. This black-vinyl 12-inch collects all four remixes of the sisters’ Colombian rare-groove recordings.
