About this release
TLC's second album brings T-Boz, Left Eye and Chilli into a more spacious setting, balancing sung harmonies, rap verses and short interludes across its sixteen-track sequence. Originally released in 1994, CrazySexyCool includes Creep, Red Light Special and Waterfalls, with production contributions from Dallas Austin, Babyface and L.A. Reid. The trio move between intimate ballads and more rhythm-led songs, while the brief linking pieces keep their personalities present between the singles. If I Was Your Girlfriend adds another angle to the album's conversations about attraction and relationships. This LaFace edition spreads the complete programme across two black vinyl LPs.
