Charles Maurice's fifth AOR Global Sounds selection gathers eight recordings made between 1977 and 1984. The compilation follows the links between AOR, West Coast songwriting, disco and soul, drawing on artists whose releases often circulated through small labels or private pressings.

Half the programme comes from the United States, with the rest extending the search through France, the UK and Venezuela. Rhapsody, Jonathon Hansen and Mark Williamson open the record, while Didier Makaga, Esperanto, Sugar Cane and Westside feature on the reverse. Favorite Recordings presents the selection on LP in a tip-on sleeve.
