A chronicle of the Ukrainian underground’s arrival in Cologne through the 1990s, centred around connections between visual artist and producer Guido Erfen, sound engineer Michael Springer and a network of musicians operating beyond the mainstream.

The album compiles 20 tracks recorded between 1986 and 1992 by bands from Kharkiv and Kyiv, music beyond the usual Perestroika records, often with jarring dissonances over grooves that fans of Captain Beefheart or The Fall would certainly enjoy.
