About this release
4am Kru's debut album Incognito Rhythm translates the London duo's live jungle sound to a three-record set. Its twelve vinyl cuts draw on the breakbeats and basslines of 1993–94 jungle, with collaborations featuring Drama1, Papa Levi and Pinty. Ribena reworks Papa Levi's Militancy, while Pianos Raining Down shifts from 165 to 134 BPM. The selection includes Just Saw Johnny, Deepest Darkest Jungle and Ooh Boy, presenting the music in extended mixes suited to longer blends. Released through Embrace The Real Records, the triple vinyl comes in a gatefold cover.
