About this release
Adele's second album, 21, brings her voice into a mix of soul, blues, gospel and pop. Released in 2011 and named after her age during its creation, it follows a relationship's breakdown through songs that move between anger, reflection and acceptance. Rolling In The Deep and Rumour Has It provide the more rhythmic moments, while Turning Tables and the closing Someone Like You centre on piano-led arrangements. The eleven-track album also includes Set Fire To The Rain, One And Only and Adele's interpretation of The Cure's Lovesong. This XL Recordings LP presents the standard album programme.
