About this release
While the vocal take’s breezy stepping is belied by the deceitfully complex rhythmic emphasis, it’s the ‘Runaway Dub’ on the flip where the sequenced bass can stretch, where fragments of disembodied machine funk are free to collide in real time. Another Larry Levan favorite, as if you had to ask.
Format: 12-inch vinyl
Label: Mango
Catalogue number: MLPS7808
