About this release
After bring their first two EPs together on a single album, tracing Graham Epstein and Justine Dorsey’s approach to trip hop and melodic pop. The Los Angeles duo draw on late-nineties and early-2000s influences ranging from Michelle Branch and Fountains Of Wayne to Portishead and Enigma. Their music combines direct pop songwriting with softer, shadowed electronic textures and unhurried rhythms. Across the collection, tracks including 300 Dreams, Lichen and Deep Diving connect the two EPs’ shared atmosphere, while The Story appears among the vinyl programme’s twelve songs. The release gathers that early material in a translucent clear edition with an accompanying insert.
