About this release
Al Kent revisits Come Back Home (Again) with The Disco Love Orchestra for his debut on Big Love. This live-band reworking draws on the warmth and musical richness of 1970s disco, pairing a Philadelphia-inspired arrangement with an expressive male lead vocal.
The hooks arrive thick and fast, but it’s the balance of orchestral backing and soulful delivery that gives the record its lift. With the original and a reprise on this 12", it brings a full-bodied, song-led sound to disco sets, with Al Kent’s love of the genre’s golden era running throughout.
