Alex Ho - Move Through It

Move Through It is Los Angeles producer and DJ Alex Ho's debut for Music From Memory. Made between 2017 and 2020 with contributions from friends including Baba Stiltz, Phil Cho, Damon Palermo and John Jones, its eight tracks favour reflective listening over the warehouse setting associated with Ho's DJ work.

Voice, saxophone, vibraphone and keyboards carry the melodic detail, while Jones adds guitar to the title track and closing piece TYFC. Miss Suzuki opens the album, with the arpeggiated Mark closing the first side. The record's ambient, downtempo and Balearic connections form a closely observed portrait of Ho's musical environment.
