About this release
Created around a conversation with his brothers, Alfa Mist's Antiphon blends melancholy jazz harmony with alternative hip-hop and soul. Its eight pieces trace that meeting point through compositions including Keep On, Potential and Errors, with Kaya Thomas-Dyke contributing vocals to Breathe.
This Sekito edition presents the album across two vinyl records in a gatefold sleeve. The sequence moves from Keep On through 7th October and Kyoki to Nucleus and Brian, retaining the complete eight-track programme. The connection between family conversation, jazz writing and hip-hop remains central to the record's character.
