About this release
Another Taste II brings the Dutch collective's boogie, funk and disco into a denser, more song-focused setting, with all eight tracks recorded live to tape. The ensemble's rhythm section, guitars, keyboards and voices work as a close unit, while a brass section adds weight to “Peace Call” and “Blue Feather Movement”. Arp Frique and The Perpetual Singers join the band on “Peace Call”, extending the record's communal vocal character. Bobby van Putten engineered and mixed the album, with Frank Merritt handling mastering and cutting at The Carvery. Released on Space Grapes, this vinyl LP moves from “Party Lights” through to “Into The Night”.
