About this release
Martin Iveson brings the musical range of Atjazz into an expansive collaborative album, connecting deep house, electronica, broken beat and soul. Starbase 17 combines programming with live instruments, including Rhodes piano, synthesizers, guitar, percussion and flute, with guest musicians and vocalists shaping the individual tracks. Fred Everything, Nathan Haines, Sio, Karizma, Kaidi Tatham and Charles Webster are among the contributors, alongside singers including Omar, Josh Milan and Clara Hill. The album follows different rhythmic and harmonic directions while keeping Iveson’s production as its common thread. This triple-vinyl edition presents all twenty-seven songs across six sides in a tri-fold sleeve.
Format: 3 x 12-inch vinyl LP; tri-fold sleeve
