About this release
Steve Angello reworks Basement Jaxx’s Where’s Your Head At, bringing a heavier bassline to the song’s big-beat energy. The remix connects the original’s forceful hook with a more contemporary club arrangement, revisiting a track from the duo’s Rooty album. This XL Recordings twelve-inch pairs Angello’s version on the A-side with the Original 12-inch Mix on the reverse. The two versions put the remix beside the longer original arrangement, giving each its own side of the record.
