Big Surge - Project A / Project AA

Moonworks revisits Big Surge’s Project A / Project AA, first released on Krazy Feet Records in 1995. Paul Kelly, Andrew Grimwood and John Viney made the original recordings in their North London studio, combining progressive house rhythms with synthesisers, vocal fragments and piano. Project A pairs rolling bass with chopped voices, while Project AA uses vocoder hooks and a more euphoric piano approach. Nizar Sarakbi adds an edit of Project A, taking the track into a stripped-back, driving direction. Prepared with the original artists, this remastered reissue presents all three tracks on a 12-inch, with refreshed artwork for Moonworks’ fourth release.
