About this release
Frog Scene and Luna Party bring two reworks from the Black Cock catalogue together on one 12-inch. Associated with DJ Harvey and Gerry Rooney's label, the pairing sits within its approach to reshaping funk and disco for DJs. Both tracks focus on the groove and instrumental detail of their source recordings, presenting the music in extended forms that connect the catalogue's off-centre character with dancefloor use.
