About this release
Blaze's 1997 album Basic Blaze returns on Slip 'n' Slide, presenting eight tracks from the New Jersey production outfit across two records. Another Dae and Cult Of Soul open the album, followed by The Garden and Wishing You Were Here. Klubtrance and Never Can Get Away occupy the third side, with My Beat, featuring Palmer Brown, and Sacred Sex completing the set. The sequence brings instrumental club tracks and vocal material into the same album. This reissue is pressed on transparent yellow vinyl and housed in a sleeve reproducing the original artwork.
