About this release
Bloods & Crips' Bangin' On Wax 2: The Saga Continues followed the first Bangin' On Wax album in 1994, bringing together rappers from different Los Angeles neighbourhoods. Participants from Compton, Watts, Long Beach and Inglewood contributed to the project, which placed contrasting voices within a shared West Coast rap setting. The follow-up leans into G-funk production, moving between full songs and short skits across its sixteen tracks. This Dangerous Records edition presents the album on double vinyl in a gatefold sleeve, with a half-and-half blue and red colour effect.
