About this release
Brochure is the collaboration of Gee Dee, Miles Felix and Nick Stropko, whose debut single revisits Celine Lomez’s ‘Joking’. The trio slows the arrangement to half-time and surrounds it with synthesisers, turning the song into a yearning ballad. Gee Dee handles vocals, drum programming and guitars, with Miles Felix and Nick Stropko adding synths and production. On the reverse, Ryan M Todd works as Osprey 2, redirecting the song into a driving, funk-inflected krautrock version. The two sides bring contrasting treatments to the same composition, pairing Brochure’s slower interpretation with Osprey 2’s Version Verrückt.
