About this release
Favorite Recordings pairs Byrne & Barnes' Love You Out Of Your Mind with a previously unreleased Robert Byrne recording on this seven-inch single. The A-side comes from An Eye For An Eye, the collaboration between Byrne and Barnes, and combines a jazzy arrangement with modern soul and AOR songwriting. Do You Wanna Make Some Love was recovered from the original executive producer's archives for the reverse. Byrne's solo track shares the West Coast character of the pairing, adding boogie and disco influences. The two recordings bring an album selection and an archival discovery together on FVR195.
