About this release
Byron The Aquarius brings together deep house, beatdown and hip hop influences on Gone Today Here Tomorrow. The EP moves between relaxed, low-slung rhythms and more flowing jazz-funk house, with warm keyboard work connecting its different moods. Cosmic $hit opens the sequence, followed by Moments In Life and Exxxtasy, before Space N Time, The Sun and Better Tomorrow complete the second side. Released by Wild Oats, the project reflects on existence, pleasure and the passing nature of experience. Its musical focus stays on groove and atmosphere, allowing the keyboard-led arrangements to move between reflective listening and the dancefloor.
