Cabo Verde Show - Bem Danca

Cabo Verde Show’s ‘Bem Danca’ appears in two forms on this UnknownUnknown 12-inch, pairing The Square Sun’s edit with the original recording. Luis Da Silva’s lead vocal sits within a Funaná arrangement marked by intricate horn and guitar parts. The edit strips the track back and extends instrumental passages, building tension before bringing synthesiser and horn lines forward. Placed on the first side, it offers a more spacious route through the song, while the original closes the reverse. Pressed at 45rpm, the two-track release highlights both the full arrangement and the different emphasis of the rework.
