About this release
Captain Sky’s Moonchild returns on Past Due Records in Peter Lewicki’s disco mix, paired with Hero on the reverse. The Chicago radio DJ’s version traces back to a promotional 12-inch release of Moonchild, a song from Captain Sky’s second album, Pop Goes The Captain. Daryl Cameron’s superhero persona is matched here by a cosmic disco sound rooted in funk. This two-track 12-inch brings that mix and its companion cut together as PASTDUE017.
