Charlotte de Witte - Return To Nowhere

Charlotte de Witte returns to her own KNTXT imprint with Return To Nowhere, a four-track EP that brings chants and hymnal textures into her techno. The record follows the territory explored on Selected, placing those vocal elements against forceful drums instead of relying on acid lines.

Sgadi Li Mi opens the A-side before the title track, with Ensemble and What's In The Past on the reverse. The contrast between hard percussion and suspended voices gives the EP its character, moving between the physical demands of a club record and a more desolate, reflective atmosphere.
