Children of Zeus & Zed Bias - Excess Baggage

Children of Zeus gather up a further chapter from the Travel Light period on Excess Baggage, a seven-track collection for First Word Records. Five cuts making their vinyl debut sit alongside Zed Bias remixes of Vibrations and Slow Down, previously available on a limited 10-inch. The material reaches across the Manchester duo’s 2017–18 recordings, linking the soul and hip-hop of Travel Light with The Story So Far and The Winter Tape.

Vibrations opens in its short album edit before the two remixes, while the second half includes 10 Toes featuring HMD, Ghost, No Sunshine Tomorrow in its Sunset Version and I Want You. FW195 puts this selection together on one 12-inch, making a useful companion to the duo’s debut album.
