About this release
Produced by Inflo, Exile brings Chronixx's roots reggae into conversation with soul and more experimental arrangements. His follow-up to Chronology considers exile in emotional, spiritual and political terms, with songs centred on identity, family, community and resilience. The vocal performances carry that reflective focus through music that leaves room for extended instrumental passages as well as direct songwriting. Inflo's production connects the warmth of classic roots textures with a broader palette, giving Chronixx space to explore themes of perseverance and belonging across an album that remains grounded in Jamaican musical traditions.
