About this release
Coco Steel & Lovebomb link with DJ Rocca on Echoes In My Mind / Mama Sol Mama Africa, reconnecting Chris Coco’s early house roots with warm Italian dream house, Balearic colour and deep house swing. Rocca and Coco each take on Echoes In My Mind, moving from fluid, organic Italian house into a deeper hybrid of house and nu-disco. On the flip, Mama Sol Mama Africa explores languid rhythms, fluttering flutes, warm Rhodes keys and layered percussion. A dub version follows, drawing out the effects and smaller musical details to offer a different perspective on the arrangement.
