About this release
Commonsur’s debut EP brings together four contemporary soul tracks from a duo working between Geneva and Madrid. British-Spanish singer Rolita appears on ‘Let’s Make It Happen’, ‘All Is Love’ and ‘Better Place’, with ‘The Walk’ completing the selection. The producers’ multi-instrumental background gives the record its tight grooves and carefully shaped arrangements, while Rolita’s vocal performances add warmth and a reflective tone. Released by Lovemonk, the EP carries a quiet message of hope through its songs without losing their rhythmic focus. All four tracks appear on this 7-inch, with two cuts on each side.
