About this release
Convertion’s Let’s Do It brings Leroy Burgess’ lead vocal into a production by Greg Carmichael, capturing the shift between disco and boogie around the start of the 1980s. The song became associated with Larry Levan’s Paradise Garage sets and the wider New York club scene. Four Flights’ All I Want Is You provides a gentler counterpoint on the reverse, retaining the original split-release pairing. Demon Singles Club presents both recordings on a seven-inch in coordination with SAM Records. Phil Kinrade handled remastering, and the single comes in a discobag sleeve, returning the two songs to a small-format vinyl release.
