About this release
Cotonete’s ‘O Céu É Preto’, featuring Gystere, receives two club interpretations on Heavenly Sweetness. Taken from the group’s ‘Victoire De La Musique’ album, the song brings its Brazilian-influenced disco setting into house territory through Dimitri From Paris and DJ Deep’s A-side remix. Bass, percussion, keyboards and guitar support Gystere’s vocal loops before the horns bring the arrangement into focus. On the reverse, DJ Deep and Romain Poncet strip the track into a dubbier version. This two-track 12-inch pairs their remix and dub, mastered by Brian Sanhaji at Calyx Mastering, across one side each.
