About this release
Coyote’s Timm Sure and Richard Hampson bring their Balearic approach into a continuous meeting of spoken word and melody. Seven musical pieces are linked by five short Nyabinghi passages, moving between meditative listening and rhythms with a funkier pull. Most Wise, Back A Yard and Be Strong Dub sit within a sequence designed to flow as a whole, with the spoken material providing a thread between the longer arrangements. The result extends the duo’s interest in dub and unhurried dance-floor music.
