Crackazat - The Nervous Chill EP

Crackazat brings his jazz-rooted approach to Nervous Chill with four tracks that sit comfortably between the sofa and the dancefloor. The Bristol-born multi-instrumentalist and producer pairs swinging grooves with fluid keyboard playing, soft pads and bright melodic details, giving The Nervous Chill EP an easy warmth without letting the rhythms drift into the background.

Across People, Monday, Bliss and Friction, downbeat textures and synth-funk touches sit alongside the deep house feel at the heart of his work. Strings, wind instruments and dynamic percussion add colour around the keys, while the arrangements leave room for the melodies to breathe. A soulful four-track 12-inch from a producer whose musicianship remains central to the groove.
