About this release
Craig Bratley’s second album places dub at the centre of a sound shaped by Italo-disco, electropop, acid house and slower club rhythms. Plasticine Dub opens with Ola’s voice, while the title track pairs a loping beat and TB-303 line with Tim Hutton’s trumpet. Amy Douglas appears on No In Between Dub, and Thomas Gandey leads Everybody Pushing. Synthesizer basslines and offbeat chords connect the songs, with the closing reprise removing drums, bass and vocals from the latter track to reveal its underlying atmosphere. Magic Feet presents the full eight-track album on vinyl LP.
