Cristina Camargo - Cristina Camargo

Cristina Camargo's self-titled debut brings together Brazilian boogie, disco and MPB in a concise collection of ten songs. Originally released in 1980, the album features production from Robson Jorge and Lincoln Olivetti, whose rhythmic arrangements give Camargo's vocals a bright, fluid backdrop. 'Moral Tem Hora', written by Marcos and Paulo Valle, is among its highlights.

The record moves from 'Natureza Morta' and 'Cara Metade' through to 'Corda Bamba' and the closing 'Poço Sem Fundo / Apesar de Você', balancing dancefloor movement with melodic songwriting. This Music On Vinyl reissue presents the album on 180g yellow vinyl and includes an insert with lyrics.
